GIS intercultural programs for transferees, are generally two-days in length. We have a program format and manual that trainers normally follow. We conduct pre-program needs assessment with the transferees and match the training program schedule and content to meet the participants needs and interests. Programs for transferees generally cover the following topics:
As all GIS programs are meant to be interactive, neither the trainer nor the resource-consultant make formal presentations to the participants, rather there is a discussion, Q&A, informal exchange of ideas and information--allowing the transferees to gain insight into their host country, culture, people, business and social protocol through the experiences and knowledge of the trainer and the consultants. As a first step toward paid consultancy work with GIS you are encouraged to complete the following Consultant Bio Form.
